locke’s big boy room

lifestyle, personal

Almost 3 years ago, before I became a mommy, I shared photos of our son Locke’s room.  It has since grown into the room of an energetic 2.5 year old.  This boy makes me smile every day & his bedroom turned out to be the perfect representation of his fun loving, spirited personality.

favourites of 2013!

engaged, lifestyle, portraits, wedding

Hard to believe another year has flown by & I’m pulling my favourite images from the year!  2013 was a year full of growth… photographing births, small businesses, commercial campaigns & of course weddings.  Each of those so different from one another on the surface, but really when looking through the photos as a whole, they all feel so similar.  People having fun, great energy!   We have a ton of fun while on shoots, connecting with the people who photograph, no matter what the subject matter.  Always humbling to look back & see the moments we were able to capture for the people who trusted us to be there for the biggest moments in their lives.  THANK YOU!

Cheers to 2013!

Toledo Dining Guide Winners!

commercial, lifestyle, portraits, Press

It’s always a great change of pace working with the Toledo City Paper… environmental portraits force us to walk into a location not knowing what the lighting or spacing will be, photographing people who have not met me beforehand also creates a challenge.  I love it though, leaving my comfort zone is an adrenaline rush.  The pace of these shoots is fast & fun, rushing from locations, meeting deadlines, it’s a blast for someone like me who has a short attention span & disdain for monotony.

Meet a handful of the winners of TCP’s Dining Guide, featuring Element 112, Bleak House Coffee, Mancy’s Steakhouse, Mancy’s Italian Grill, Mancy’s Bluewater Grille, Mayor Mike Bell & Bar Louie Perrysburg
