Brianna and Steve are another amazing couple.  I really have been so fortunate this year to have been able to photograph and get to know such amazing people.

My brain is currently fried and while I would love to talk about what an amazing day we had with Brianna and Steve, I know that the lovely bride is amped to see these...... :)
Hope Jamaica was frickin amazing!!!

Becky & Dave are another super sweet couple.  Becky is a chemist, so she's super smart, and Dave is a cop.  They truly bring out the best in each other when together... it's funny those couples who have this obvious complete-ness when together.... like peanut butter + jelly :)  Here are a few photos from their wedding at the Toledo Zoo.

I am so torn on whether to post personal photos here... I want people to get to know me better through this blog, but I also don't want prospective couples to have to cull through random posts to see wedding and engagement photos.  I suppose I should stick to my 'this blog is for me' motto.... that's what the categories menu is for, right?

For those people who do not know... I have three dogs.  Yes, I am insane.  Yes, we vacuum a lot. Yes, we have stock in Febreze. Here are my three pups, fresh from the groomers.

I have been looking forward to Keri & Steve's wedding since last December.  They have amazing style and equally amazing chemistry.  I feel extremely honored to have gotten to know them both just a bit and to have been able to photograph and capture the love they share.  They totally 'got me', in that, they were in sync with the locations we went to, why we went to them, and how the photos would turn out.  This wedding, this couple, hit my photo sweet spot :)

I wish you two the most joy and luck in the world, you truly are one of my favourite couples for tons of different reasons.  I hope Italy is frickin' rad and Steve, I hope you get lots of brilliant photos :)

On with the photos, enjoy.

A favourite of their 'first look'...

While doing my mentoring session in Seattle at the end of June, I fell in love with the fabulous letterpress business cards of the equally fabulous Sarah Rhoads.  Not to be punny, but to hold a thick, letterpress business card definitely makes a lasting impression and I knew I wanted some of my own.

This is where Sarah (of Sarah + CJ) came in.

Sarah is a super rad graphic designer for a hip firm here in Toledo, and instead of attempting to make my own new letterpress cards, I contacted Sarah to see if she'd be interested in the work.  By the time we wrapped up the design, Sarah mentioned that she would like to do another engagement-esque photo shoot that encompassed her and CJ's love of water and water sports.  They were super photogenic the first time, so I was all for another shoot.  Times are tough, and I am definitely willing to barter ;)
