LOVE the first look shot! And I think I've said this before, so forgive me for the broken record effect, but I always love your bridal party shots and your portraits. They're perfect!
This is where Sarah (of Sarah + CJ) came in.
Sarah is a super rad graphic designer for a hip firm here in Toledo, and instead of attempting to make my own new letterpress cards, I contacted Sarah to see if she'd be interested in the work. By the time we wrapped up the design, Sarah mentioned that she would like to do another engagement-esque photo shoot that encompassed her and CJ's love of water and water sports. They were super photogenic the first time, so I was all for another shoot. Times are tough, and I am definitely willing to barter ;)

I had never been to Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown for a wedding, had heard good things, but didn't know what to expect... well it was frickin gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. Around every corner there was grand columns, dramatic windows and staircases... it made for super cinematic photos. Oh and their reception details were fabulous... I adore tall centerpieces... they make such a difference in creating a romatic mood.

Oh yay! I've been waiting for these. Isn't Stambaugh incredible!? I always love to see other photographers "take" on the places I've been. You did not disappoint! :) Great eye. I especially love the one of the bride and groom with the columns! Beautiful images Mary! Glad you liked what you saw of our fair city.
