Trinda is an art teacher, Bret is a farmer... and they are too adorable together.  They are completely at ease and free when they're looking at each other... which makes my task of documenting their pre-wedding love incredibly effortless.  We watched the sunset in Toledo, talked about weddings, and pizza... it was a gooood night!

I spent this past lovely Sunday with Liz and Ian to photograph their engagement photos.  We  explored Toledo a bit, and then headed to the Docks where Ian had proposed.  I was pleasantly surprised with the cool spots around the Docks... we enjoyed the beginnings of a sunset and were entertained by the flocks of fishermen.

Can't wait for your July wedding, sounds like there is going to be some FAB-u-lous details!!

Jessica & Brian are my August 15th bride and groom... aka 8-15, if you know how big of a LOST nerd I am, you realize how exciting that is to say that, haha.  Regardless of their wedding date, they are a rad couple! I love when people trust me to take them to the random spots around Toledo that I stumbled upon for their photo shoots! We found a bunch of amazing spots, and they did an amazing job being lovey models... hence the amazing photos we made together.  Thank you so much for being, well, you!! See you soon... on, 815 :)

Yesterday Jill and Andy celebrated their one year anniversary with their wedding..... whhhatt!?! you may ask. Yes, a year ago they 'eloped' and then spent a year planning their big one year anniversary wedding.... and I am so happy that Abby & I got to be a part of their day.  I knew we were going to have an amazing day since our initial consultation last year... there are some people who I feel instantly at ease with, and Jill + Andy were one of those couples. Once I saw a glimpse of their details I knew we were going to have a fabulous day.

We did a 'first look' and then spent an hour taking portraits of just our newlyweds, which was amazing... super chill.  After photos we headed to the Toledo Zoo's African Lodge where they would renew their wedding vows infront of all of the most important people in their lives.

Thank you both so much for being so awesome... I am so grateful to have started my season with such a beautiful couple.  I hope you have a blast in Chicago, lots of gooood pizza :) & then Ireland in the fall.

Enjoy your sneak peek...

I headed down to Findlay for Tanya & Bryan's engagement shoot.... and it was totally worth the drive!  Downtown Findlay is full of cool back alleys and random grunge.  I was super pumped about the blue VW van we stumbled upon, especially since it wasn't a permanent fixture behind the tire shop and we knew it wouldn't be there to photograph with again.

Enjoy my favourites! Their Jack Russell, Lincoln, is awesomely photogenic, too!

Great color combination, lighting, and framing. The VW bus was the perfect background to capture their love. These are by far some of the best photos I have ever seen. You truly are doing what you were meant for.
